Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Geanmi collects, why, and what your rights are. It applies to the website geanmi.com (and geanmi.be) and to the mobile games published on Google Play under the developer name Geanmi.
1. Who we are
Geanmi is the trade name of Geoffrey Broux, an independent game developer based in Brussels, Belgium. Geanmi is the data controller for the processing described here.
Contact for any privacy question: contact@geanmi.com
2. The website
The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Our host, OVHcloud (OVH SAS, France), automatically records technical server logs when you visit a page: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. These logs are used only for security and to keep the site running, and are kept for a limited period by the host. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
3. When you email us
If you write to us, we use your email address and the content of your message only to answer you. We keep the exchange for as long as needed to follow up on it, and at most 3 years after our last contact. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your request, or steps taken at your request before a contract.
4. Our games
Game data on your device
Your progress and settings are saved on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the game deletes them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Our games are free and display ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- your device’s advertising ID;
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- technical information about your device and the app (model, operating system, language, app version);
- your interactions with ads (views, clicks).
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google’s consent message the first time you open the game, before any personalised advertising. If you refuse, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which rely on limited data (for example to cap how often an ad is shown, to measure ads and to fight fraud). You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings available in the game.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings › Privacy › Ads, or Settings › Google › Ads, depending on your device).
Legal basis: your consent for personalised ads; our legitimate interest in financing free games through non-personalised ads. More information: how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google’s privacy policy.
Google Play
Downloads, updates and any in-app purchases are handled by Google Play under Google’s own privacy policy. We never receive your payment card details. Google provides us with aggregated statistics (number of installs, crashes and performance) that do not identify you.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location in our games.
- We do not sell your personal data.
If a game ever uses an additional service (for example online leaderboards), its store listing and this page will be updated before that feature goes live.
5. Children
Our games are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. If a game is designed for children, its store listing will say so and personalised advertising will be disabled in it. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Google may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@geanmi.com; we will answer within one month.
Because we do not hold an account or profile for you in our games, the data linked to advertising is held by Google. You can manage it through your Google account and your device’s ad settings.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our games or services change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. In case of significant changes, we will inform you in the game or on this website.
